Thursday Purse-Day!!

Hello everyone! 🙂

Happy Thursday to you all!!

This week i’m going to do something a little different. 🙂  I’m going to post the usual bag…but this is my knitting toolkit bag.  And I’ve defined all the areas of my bag.

Oh yeah…also i’m trying out a new plug in on the blog.  I’m tired of double uploading to flickr then to my blog, so I’m trying out a flickr plugin. 🙂

the bag closed. :) Bag open one side of the bag Do not ask me why I have SO many scissors. I have an illness. :) meshy part :) the other side. :)

There isn’t much organization to my tool bag. 🙂  it’s actually kind of chaotic.  hehehehe.  but it’s handy! 🙂

On the knitting front…I got another baby sweater done.  I have a baby shower next week and I am expected to bring a handknit to this shower.  I will gladly oblige 🙂  This is the friend that I did the wedding photos for a few months ago.  her baby is due in the next month.  squeeee!

Amount Used: 1 1/3 skeins
Color:  Teal
Needle Size: US 5

Date Finished: Jan 20, 2009

I changed the garter stitch to seed stitch b/c I think garter stitch is horrible boring and weird looking. 🙂  Seed stitch is so much cleaner and nicer looking.

I really liked this pattern.  I love the front!  it’s so hip and with it.  hehehe.  It’s actually very similar to the pattern i wrote for the baby cardigan, but this isn’t a cardigan (duh).  It went fairly fast.   I put it down for a few days b/c I have had my knitting time dramatically cut at work.  Don’t mock me. 🙂   I know i’ve been lucky to be able to knit at work!!  I’m just sad that that was sort of taken away from me so suddenly.  don’t judge me!

I’m making a hat in the same yarn to match and going to make a pair of booties as well.  I started the hat today.  It should be done in the next day or two.

I think that’s it for now! 🙂  everyone have a fantastic week!

Hey! Ive havent been keeping up with blogs lately, i read through your holiday posts, glad to see you survived 😛 I love your hello kitty guitar strap, I havent played RockBand yet, but I rock out on Guitar Hero, I can beat them on medium, so to me that means ive mastered guitar playing 😛 I love that pullover, it looks like something from Banana Republic, totally en vogue.

Hey, if you have all the tools you need in one place (and convenient for travel), then you’re pretty well organized!

I’m lovin’ that baby sweater. And you make it seem so easy and quick, that I may have to try it (despite having minimal knitting time on my new “job”, too)!
