Hello everyone!! MERRRRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Or a more politically correct…HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

I hope everyone has nice plans w/ friends and family this holiday season.   I’m going to hit Las Vegas w/ my family for the holidays.  May sound a little weird…but it’s not all that weird.  hahaha.  My parents love to hit Vegas and they wanted to get out of town for a couple of days w/ me and my brudda…so ta da.   it’ll be nice celebrating the day of our Lord’s birth by playing blackjack or being a slot jockey for a day. :)  hahaha.

This week’s bag is a cute bag.

This bag was a freebie given to me when I placed an order last week with ThinkGeek.  it’s a bag that looks like a freaggin’ cassette tape!! how sweet is that. :)  No one even noticed it on Sunday when i was knitting w/ everyone!  boooo!  they were too busy looking at my awesome netbook (teehee).

This week has been a horrrrrrrribly busy week for me at work.  Yeah..wah wah wah.  there is a huge rush of things going on and I have been at work for longer than i usually work every day I have been at work this week.  and it has been so busy at work, there has been no time to knit while at work.  so I didn’t finish my golightly gloves yet.  I finished ONE. hahaha

I did start on a new shawl.  sigh.  I’ve been itching to start this danish tie shawl since I saw Janice’s finished product at the Simpatico Christmas Party.  I finally settled on a yarn that i wanted to make it out of.  which yarn?  dum da dum!!  MALABRIGO LACE!!  i have tons of the stuff from my visits to Canada this year and last year….never knit a stitch of it.  I have now and O….M…..F…..G.  this shiz is like knitting butter…it’s so smooth and fantastic.  I must knit MORE!!!!  So I cast on tonight thinking i would knit about 10 rows and then leave it for my mindless airplane knitting.  yeah…i finished it already! JUST KIDdING!   i’m not that awesome. :)  i did knit about 30 rows before i decided to put it down and save it for my flight tomorrow.

I can’t wait to see how it knits up.

I should be packing up some clothes, but I am watching Swingers on G4 in amazement of how thin and young Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau are.  Shoot this was when Vince Vaughn was HOTTTTTTTT.  Oh how funny…they are driving into Vegas.  I totally forgot that they go there in this movie.  How fitting
