I”m pretty happy w/ how this came out. It was alot of fun! I lovvvvvvvvveee fair isle!! I would love to do another one. My only regret is i feel my MC was too dark. and i feel like the varigations in my CC…too much dark blue in it. So it didn’t MATCH the mc….but it kind of blended in TOO well. it still looks pretty.
I started my sea Silk Clapotis today.
i’m thinking i want to make this for my birthday present to myself.
My birthday is coming up. (psst..i’m turning 30!!!) I wonder if i can finish this one in time…esp since i never finished my first Clapotis (started over 2 years ago…what is THAT about??) I might just end up ripping that one totally out and reusing the yarn for something else. I used Nature’s Palette for that Clapotis…..i could do something else in it that will inspire me. hehehe. But i’ve got 2 weeks to finish this project. let’s see if I can do it. This would be a nice happy birthday to myself though eh?

Dang, girl! We should have had YOU making the dog sweater instead of a hat, since you knit so damn fast! That’s a great hat, BTW.

Nice Fair Isle job! I love Fair Isle, too. Well, let me qualify that. I love it when knitting in the round. I pretty much despise it when knitting flat and having to increase and decrease. I can’t wait to see the finished Clapotis. I want me some Sea Silk!
